fine art of tail braiding.

To braid the tail for Dressage, follow these directions. |

1. Dampen around the dock. |
2. Separate three small sections of hair on either side. |
3.
Begin
a three-strand braid with the smaller sections.
|
4. Bring each new strand from behind the tail. |

| 5. Add strands from behind the tail at each step. | 6. Keep the tension even as you braid. | 7. Stop adding new strands at the end of the tail bone. | |

8.
Secure the end with a small rubber band.
|
9.
Sew through the end of the braid with a needle and yarn.
|
10.
Draw the braid into a loop by bringing the needle and yarn out at
about the fourth or fifth braid segment. Tie the yarn off in a square
knot and snip.
