Lets get acquainted...
I am 21 years old, a fourth generation Las Vegan and fourth
generation in Professional Rodeo. My family is a long time ranching
and Professional Rodeo family with World Champions in Saddle
Bronc Riding, since 1919. I am proud to carry on the rodeo tradition.
I have been an active member of the Women's Professional Rodeo
Association since 9 years of age. My rodeo events are barrel
racing, goat tying, breakaway roping and team roping. I am in
my third year of competition in the National College Rodeo Association.
I have been on the Lassen College Rodeo Team for 2* years. My
freshman year I competed in the National College Rodeo Finals,
placing 14th in the nation in Goat Tying and my second year
I place 6th in the Nation in Breakaway Roping. I also compete
in the California Cowboy Professional Rodeo Association, America
West 4D, NSBR Association in California. I will be transferring
to California Polytechnical State University, San Luis Obispo,
California in January 2001. My major is Agriculture Business.
I will also compete on the rodeo team in Barrel Racing, Goat
Tying, Breakaway Roping and Team Roping.
I have
received the honor of being the 1997/98 Nevada State High School
Rodeo Queen, National Little Britches Assoc. Rodeo Queen 96/97,
Las Vegas Little Britches Rodeo Queen 1996 & Helldorado Queen
in Las Vegas 1996. I was chosen for Miss Rio Vista Rodeo in
Jan. 1997, which gives me a chance to travel the United States
and Canada for appearances and promotions. I love to travel!
I have also competed in National High School Rodeo Association
from 1996 thru 1998 and in 1997 at National Finals, 1996/97
& 98 National Little Britches Association & Finals, competing
in barrels, poles, goat tying, breakaway, trails and in High
School I competed in cutting and the Nevada Cutting Horse Association
and did very well.
I was lucky
enough to obtain All Around Championships, barrel racing championships,
awards saddles, belt buckles and many prizes throughout my career.
