MISS RIO VISTA RODEO - Karly Rieger-Klaholz

We are happy to have you visit us.
Lets get acquainted...
I am 21 years old, a fourth generation Las Vegan and fourth generation in Professional Rodeo. My family is a long time ranching and Professional Rodeo family with World Champions in Saddle Bronc Riding, since 1919. I am proud to carry on the rodeo tradition. I have been an active member of the Women's Professional Rodeo Association since 9 years of age. My rodeo events are barrel racing, goat tying, breakaway roping and team roping. I am in my third year of competition in the National College Rodeo Association. I have been on the Lassen College Rodeo Team for 2* years. My freshman year I competed in the National College Rodeo Finals, placing 14th in the nation in Goat Tying and my second year I place 6th in the Nation in Breakaway Roping. I also compete in the California Cowboy Professional Rodeo Association, America West 4D, NSBR Association in California. I will be transferring to California Polytechnical State University, San Luis Obispo, California in January 2001. My major is Agriculture Business. I will also compete on the rodeo team in Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping and Team Roping.

I have received the honor of being the 1997/98 Nevada State High School Rodeo Queen, National Little Britches Assoc. Rodeo Queen 96/97, Las Vegas Little Britches Rodeo Queen 1996 & Helldorado Queen in Las Vegas 1996. I was chosen for Miss Rio Vista Rodeo in Jan. 1997, which gives me a chance to travel the United States and Canada for appearances and promotions. I love to travel! I have also competed in National High School Rodeo Association from 1996 thru 1998 and in 1997 at National Finals, 1996/97 & 98 National Little Britches Association & Finals, competing in barrels, poles, goat tying, breakaway, trails and in High School I competed in cutting and the Nevada Cutting Horse Association and did very well.

I was lucky enough to obtain All Around Championships, barrel racing championships, awards saddles, belt buckles and many prizes throughout my career. I also train my own horses. If you would like to ask me questions or just chat, you can e-mail me.
